Curtis | Law PC is committed to active community engagement through pro bono service, charitable involvement, and educational outreach. This commitment is a core part of the Firm’s culture and reflects our belief that meaningful service strengthens both our profession and the communities we serve.

Stephanie Curtis is actively involved with numerous civic, educational, and nonprofit organizations, including Attorneys Serving the Community; the Institute for Economic Empowerment of Women (Peace Through Business); Northwood University; the People Empowerment Project; The Meadows Museum; Children’s Medical Center Women’s Auxiliary; the Women’s Council of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden; and the Women’s Finance Exchange.

Ms. Curtis has served in leadership roles supporting initiatives focused on women’s health, education, and economic empowerment, including participation in executive leadership efforts with the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign, which raises awareness of heart disease and stroke among women.

In recognition of her contributions to education and public service, Ms. Curtis has received multiple honors from Northwood University, including an honorary doctorate and recognition as a Distinguished Woman for her leadership, ethical business practices, mentorship, and service to future women leaders.

Curtis | Law PC supports public education through involvement with local school districts, including participation in leadership immersion programs, student mentorship initiatives, and summer internship programs. The Firm is also committed to legal education and access to justice through ongoing involvement with the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program, mock trial and moot court coaching, and participation in judge-led continuing legal education programs in both state and federal courts.

Ms. Curtis currently serves on the Board of Northwood University, where she founded the Founder’s Day Program, an initiative that connects students with entrepreneurs to promote innovation, leadership, and business development. She is also a former Board Chair of the People Empowerment Project, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering students through effective student council programs in public schools.

Additionally, Ms. Curtis has supported international women’s entrepreneurship through Peace Through Business®, a program that provides business education, leadership development, and mentorship to women in post-conflict regions. This initiative promotes economic independence and long-term stability through education and professional mentorship.
