The first 10 days of leave may be unpaid%2C and accrued vacation leave%2C personal leave or medical sick leave days may be used instead. Thereafter%2C the employee is entitled to 10 weeks of paid leave at %24200 a day or %2410%2C000 in the aggregate. Under Division E%2C referred to as the %3Ca href%3D%5C%22https%3A%2F%2Fwww.dol.gov%2Fagencies%2Fwhd%2Ffmla%2Fpandemic%5C%22 target%3D%5C%22_blank%5C%22%3EEmergency Paid Sick Leave Act%3C%2Fa%3E%2C an employee who is suffering from CoronaVirus%2C CoronaVirus symptoms or has been advised by a health care provider to self-quarantine or ordered to be quarantined is entitled to receive 80 hours of paid leave at a maximum of %24511 a day or %245%2C111 in the aggregate%3B while employees unable to work (or telework) due to a need to care for their son or daughter because the school or place of care or child care provider of the employee%E2%80%99s son or daughter has closed due to COVID-19%2C or the employee must care for an individual who is suffering from CoronaVirus%2C CoronaVirus symptoms or has been advised by a healthcare provider to self-quarantine or ordered to be quarantined due to COVID-19 are entitled to %24200 a day or %242%2C000 in the aggregate. The small business employer is entitled to receive tax credits equal to the amount of Family Leave or Sick Leave paid.
